Description:
Indications of Clindax-B 20 Topical Gel
A combination of medications called Clindax-B is used to treat acne. It eliminates acne-causing bacteria. Additionally, it replenishes the skin and lowers oil production. You should take Clindax-B for the recommended amount of time and dosage.
Pharmacology of Clindax-B 20 Topical Gel
A semi-synthetic lincomycin derivative is a clindamycin. By reversibly binding to the 50S ribosomal subunits, it prevents sensitive organisms from transpeptiding or translocating and reduces bacterial protein synthesis.
Benzoyl peroxide has a modest keratolytic and antibacterial effect due to its strong oxidizing activity. Both clindamycin and benzoyl peroxide works well against the Propionibacterium acnes bacteria, which is the root cause of acne vulgaris.
Dosage & Administration of Clindax-B 20 Topical Gel
- Apply to the affected areas once or twice daily (morning and evening) after the skin is gently washed and patted dry.
Interaction of Clindax-B 20 Topical Gel
It might make neuromuscular blockers function more effectively (e.g. atracurium). It’s possible that it will negate parasympathomimetics’ effects. It’s possible that linezolid, chloramphenicol, streptogramins, macrolides, and ketolides will vie for your attention. Increased coagulation tests (prothrombin time/INR) and/or bleeding can happen when using vitamin K antagonists (e.g. warfarin, acenocoumarol, fluindione). The cloth may temporarily turn discolored as a result of PABA sunscreens.
