Indications of Adaben Duo 20
Adaben Duo Gel is a prescription medicine that contains a combination of medications used to treat acne in patients aged 12 and up. It removes the dead layer of skin on top of the skin. It inhibits bacterial growth. Adaben Duo Gel should be taken in the dose and for the duration prescribed by your doctor.
Pharmacology
Adaben Duo 20 gel is approved for the topical treatment of acne vulgaris in patients aged 12 and up. Adapalene binds to nuclear retinoic acid receptors but not to cytosolic receptor protein. Adapalene is a modulator of cellular differentiation, keratinization, and inflammatory processes, according to biochemical and pharmacological profile studies. Adapalene binds to specific retinoic acid nuclear receptors, which normalizes follicular epithelial cell differentiation, resulting in decreased microcomedone formation. Benzoyl peroxide is a bacteriocidal and keratolytic oxidizing agent.
