Description:
Indication
When there has been a volume deficiency, Albutein injection is used to replenish and maintain the volume of blood that is circulated. The primary element in it is human albumin. Albumin works by restoring the body’s lost fluid or blood volume as a result of various ailments or occurrences. In a hospital setting, a doctor or nurse will give you this injection. Do not inject yourself. You should adhere to your doctor’s aftercare instructions. Before beginning the medication, let the doctor know if you are pregnant, intend to become pregnant, or are already nursing, as well as any current medications and dietary supplements you are taking.
Pharmacology
Albumin in the Albutein Injection replaces the blood or body fluids lost during excessive blood loss in certain conditions.
ALBUTEIN 20% is a sterile, aqueous solution that contains 20% human albumin (weight/volume) and is intended for single-dose intravenous delivery. ALBUTEIN 20% is made from pooled human plasma collected from venous blood using a cold alcohol fractionation technique. With 0.08 millimole sodium caprylate and 0.08 millimole sodium acetyl tryptophanate per gram of protein, the product is stabilized. Human albumin 20% has a colloid osmotic impact that is roughly four times greater than that of regular human plasma. 130-160 milliequivalents of sodium ion are present in a liter of 20% ALBUTEIN solution. Throughout the product’s shelf life, the solution contains no more than 200 micrograms of aluminum per liter. There are no preservatives in the product.
ALBUTEIN 20% is made from plasma collected at FDA-approved plasmapheresis centers in the United States. ALBUTEIN 20% is heated at 60 ?C for ten hours to eliminate the possibility of virus transmission.
