Description:
- Flucloxacillin is indicated for the treatment of infections due to Gram-positive organisms, including infections caused by ?-lactamase producing staphylococci.
- Skin and Soft Tissue Infections: Boils, abscesses, carbuncles, furunculosis, infected wounds, infected burns, protection of skin grafts, otitis media, and externa, impetigo.
- Infected Skin Conditions: Ulcer, eczema, and acne.
- Respiratory Tract Infections: Pneumonia, lung abscess, empyema, sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, quinsy.
- Other infections caused by Flucloxacillin-sensitive organisms such as osteomyelitis, enteritis, endocarditis, urinary tract infection, meningitis, and septicemia.
- Flucloxacillin is also indicated for use as a prophylactic agent during major surgical procedures where appropriate, for example, cardiothoracic and orthopedic surgery.

Breastfeeding
CAUTION
Fluclox 500 should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving
SAFE
Fluclox 500 does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney
CAUTION
Fluclox 500mg Capsule should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. A dose adjustment of Fluclox 500 Capsule may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver
