Indications of Rynex 0.05%
A medication called Rynex Spray is used to treat nasal congestion (blocked nose) brought on by the flu, hay fever, and other allergies. Your nose’s blood vessels will constrict as a result, clearing up nasal blockage and congestion.
Pharmacology
Oxymetazoline A sympathomimetic amine derived from imidazoline is hydrochloride. On -adrenoceptors, but not -adrenoceptors, it functions as a direct agonist. It causes rapid and long-lasting vasoconstriction of the arterioles when applied topically to the nasal mucosa, which lowers blood flow and lessens mucosal edema. As a result, the nasal sinuses drain more efficiently and the airway becomes more effective.
