This should be taken empty stomach. InteractionNitroglycerin SR may potentiate the effects of peripheral vasodilators and may cause severe hypotension when used along with Sildenafil. ContraindicationsIn patients who have a known allergy to nitroglycerin, other organic nitrates, or nitrites, or to the medicine’s excipients, nitroglycerin is contraindicated. Acute myocardial infarction, severe anemia, head trauma, cerebral haemorrhage, or closed angle glaucoma are other contraindications. Side EffectsHeadache, dizziness, weakness, mild gastrointestinal symptoms may occur.
